Islam Education Workshop
Our school aims to foster curiosity, mutual respect, and understanding of different faiths. We welcomed a lovely guest speaker to deliver an educational workshop on Islam to each year group. The purpose of this visit was to bring our Religious Education curriculum to life and help children understand the diverse lives and traditions of their own peers. Children could see and learn about special items used in Muslim daily life, discover stories behind special festivals such as Eid and ask lots of interesting questions. This visit offered a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to learn directly from a member of the faith community, helping them develop empathy and respect for the world we live in.
