To celebrate the remarkable 100th Birthday of Sir David Attenborough, our school came alive with the wonders of the natural world during a very special Nature Day!

Children arrived dressed as their favourite animals, beautiful parts of nature and even Sir David himself, creating a fantastic celebration filled with colour, creativity and excitement. Throughout the day, the children explored the incredible life and achievements of David Attenborough, learning how his passion for wildlife and conservation has inspired generations of people across the world to care for our planet.

Each class also created their own unique birthday card to send to Sir David as a way of thanking him for helping us better understand and appreciate the world around us. The children worked incredibly hard on their designs and messages — and now we are all keeping our fingers crossed that we might receive a reply!

Nature Day was a wonderful opportunity for our children to celebrate the beauty of our planet, reflect on the importance of protecting it and be inspired by one of the world’s greatest environmental champions.
