Harvest Festival
This year we were asked by Stone Community Hub to raise donations to support the brilliant work they do for our local community. Our fantastic choir have worked hard to put on a full assembly in conjunction with St Michael's Church who came along to end our assembly with a reflective prayer. Each year group has been busy learning about where food comes from, why Christians thank God for the harvest, creation and their food. We have explored the tradition of donating food to help those in need and compared British harvest traditions with other cultural and religious celebrations of nature, such as the Jewish festival of Sukkot.
