House Captains
At Pirehill we have 4 House Teams which are named after local famous figures. They are: Brindley, Walton, Wedgwood and Jervis. At the start of each year, 2 House Captains are chosen in their House Meeting to represent them. They are given a House Captain badge and meet with the Headteacher to decide on themes for the inter-house competitions. They lead their House Meetings to share with their house teams how they can work hard as a team to achieve victory!
Autumn Term Competition!
Our first competition of the year has taken place: the Inter-house Quiz! Brave members from each house put themselves forward to tackle the questions and compete for the title. The battle was close, with every house taking the lead at some point, but the final question on famous authors decided the ultimate winner.
The winners were.... WALTON HOUSE!!!
