Year 3 had an unforgettable Roman Enrichment Day, packed with hands-on learning and historical discovery! The children explored our topic on the Romans in Britain and investigated our big historical question: Should the Romans be remembered as conquerors or creators of change? We were joined by a real Roman soldier, Titus, who brought history to life by showing us Roman armour and weapons, letting us handle genuine artefacts, and explaining what it was like to serve in the Roman army. The excitement continued outside, where the children took part in army training and learned key battle formations. Their curiosity and enthusiasm shone through, with thoughtful questions and eager participation making it a truly memorable day for everyone.
