Special Visitors - People Who Help Us!
Reception and Year 1 had a very special day as part of their 'People Who Help Us' topic.
An A&E nurse visited the children and talked about her important role in the hospital. She explained how we can stay healthy and taught the children about the importance of washing our hands properly to get rid of germs and stop them spreading.
The children also had a visit from a member of the police force who explained all about her role and how she helps people in our community. The children were able to see some of her uniform and equipment, including handcuffs!
A huge thank you to our wonderful visitors for taking the time to come and see us. The children learned so much from this experience!
