Reception and Year 1 Christmas Nativity
Christmas Nativity
Our Reception and Year 1 pupils recently brought the Christmas story to life in a wonderful Nativity performance. They loved stepping into the roles of Mary, Joseph, shepherds, and angels. Children were able to retell the Nativity Story and explore the birth of Jesus. Children learnt what is special about Christmas and how religious traditions shape our celebrations.
Ramadan
We were delighted to welcome a parent to our school this week to share the traditions of Ramadan and Eid with the children in Reception. The children were fascinated to learn how families fast during the day and come together for the special Iftar meal at sunset. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to ask questions and understand the importance of kindness and charity during this holy month.
