Children's Mental Health Week 2026 in Reception - 'This is My Place'

During Children's Mental Health Week, Reception celebrated the theme 'This is My Place' by taking part in a Welcome Circle activity. Children practised using each other's names, listening to one another, and inviting friends to play and join activities together. They also passed a heart around the circle using their pegs, taking turns and showing respect for one another. These activities helped build everyday belonging in our classroom, ensuring every child felt included and valued as part of our school family.
