The Pirehill School Council helps pupils share their ideas and have a voice in school life. The council is made up of children from different classes who are chosen to represent their classmates.
The School Council meets regularly with Mrs Askey in school to talk about what pupils enjoy, what could be improved, and how to make Pirehill an even better place to learn and play. Council members listen carefully to the ideas of others and help share them with teachers.
The School Council also helps with fun activities, school events, and projects that support kindness, teamwork, and wellbeing. This year, the School Council has already led our Harvest Assembly and has been busy planting to prepare for spring, helping to care for our school environment.
Being on the School Council helps children build confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills.
