Welcome

Home Learning

Home learning can be shared through our online communication platform, Seesaw. We always try hard to make the activities relevant, enjoyable and worthwhile! We request all children complete the activity in the Home Learning Project box and in the Physical Development box. Children can then choose which other four activities to complete between now and half term. If your child would like to do more, he/she is more than welcome to. Remember, reading is the gateway to the curriculum! Ideally, your child should try to 'read' to another person for about ten minutes each and every day. A bedtime story is so important! It really does pay dividends to your child’s education. It has become good practise to share, praise and reward work completed at home. Children always look forward to this time in class together and we really enjoy sharing your Seesaw posts. Your children are so proud to talk about their learning at home and are pleased to have their house point rewards. Thank you for your support! Please upload your comments, photos/videos of your home learning to Seesaw. Each child will have a new Seesaw login for home learning and these personal logins will be sent home shortly. Please ensure you keep this information safe. Your time and effort with these activities really is appreciated and really does make a difference to your child’s progress, understanding, self esteem and confidence. If you struggle to upload anything, or you are not sure how to do it, please just ask and we can help. We look forward to sharing some of our 'Home Learning Heroes' on our newsletters!
