Pupil Premium


Pupil Premium was introduced by the government in April 2011 and was allocated to children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals (FSM) and children who had been looked after continuously for more than six months. A premium was also been introduced for children whose parents were serving in the armed forces. 

Pupil Premium funding was extended in April 2012 to include funding for children who have been eligible for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years.
